## Het probleem: de SPF-limiet van 10 DNS lookups

**Sender Policy Framework (SPF)** is een DNS-record dat ontvangende mailservers vertelt welke IP-adressen geautoriseerd zijn om namens uw domein e-mail te verzenden. Elke keer dat u een e-maildienst toevoegt -- Google Workspace, Salesforce, Mailchimp, HubSpot, Zendesk -- groeit uw SPF-record. Inzicht in het [SPF-recordformaat](/nl/spf-record-formaat/) maakt duidelijk waarom.

Elk `include`\-mechanisme activeert een DNS lookup, en [RFC 7208](https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc7208#section-4.6.4) legt een harde limiet op van **10 DNS lookups** per SPF-evaluatie. De meeste bedrijven gebruiken tegenwoordig 5 tot 15+ externe e-maildiensten. Wanneer uw SPF-record 10 lookups overschrijdt, geeft het een `permerror`:

E-mails falen stilzwijgend bij SPF-authenticatie 

Uw domein wordt kwetsbaar voor spoofing 

E-mailafleverbaarheid daalt zonder waarschuwing 

DMARC-uitlijning breekt, wat de afzenderreputatie beïnvloedt 

Klanten missen facturen en verkoop-follow-ups belanden in de spam

## De oplossing: automatische SPF flattening

AutoSPF elimineert de limiet van 10 lookups volledig door al uw opgenomen domeinen **automatisch af te vlakken en te comprimeren** tot opgeloste IP-adressen, en deze vervolgens te serveren via één beheerd SPF-record.

Lost alle geneste includes op  \-- Elke include, redirect en genest SPF-mechanisme wordt recursief opgelost tot de onderliggende IP-adressen en CIDR-bereiken.
